Terms of service
These terms apply to your use of eclipseglasses.com.au and to quotes and orders for eclipse viewing products supplied by Aura Sight ("we", "us"). By submitting an enquiry or placing an order you agree to them.
Quotes and orders
- Enquiry forms and e-mails are requests for a quote, not orders. A quote is valid for 14 days unless it says otherwise.
- An order is confirmed when we accept it in writing and, where stated in the quote, a deposit has been received.
- Prices are in Australian dollars and exclude GST and delivery unless the quote states otherwise.
- Custom-branded products require artwork approval before production and cannot be cancelled once production starts.
Delivery
Stock is held in New South Wales and shipped Australia-wide. Delivery dates in quotes are estimates. We will tell you promptly if a delay could affect your event, but we are not liable for delays caused by carriers or events outside our control.
Product safety
Our eclipse glasses are certified to ISO 12312-2:2015 for direct solar viewing. They must be used as directed: inspect each pair before use and discard any that are scratched, punctured or separating from the frame. Do not use them with binoculars, telescopes or cameras unless a solar filter designed for that instrument is fitted. Supervise children at all times. You are responsible for distributing the product safety instructions we supply to attendees at your event.
Returns
Unopened, unbranded stock in original cartons may be returned within 14 days of delivery for a refund less delivery costs. Custom-branded stock is not returnable. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, including guarantees that goods are of acceptable quality and match their description.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to products or this site is limited to the amount you paid for the products concerned. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of event revenue.
This website
