Privacy policy
This policy explains what personal information Aura Sight ("we", "us") collects through eclipseglasses.com.au, how we use it, and the choices you have. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
What we collect
- Enquiry forms. Name, organisation, e-mail address, expected attendance and event details you enter into the hosting or wholesale enquiry forms.
- E-mail. Anything you e-mail us in reply to an enquiry, and our replies.
- Usage data. Pages viewed, approximate location (city level), device and browser type, referring site, and interactions such as clicks and scrolling, collected by the analytics tools below.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry with pricing and availability, and to fulfil orders.
- To understand which pages and regional landing pages bring visitors, and to fix usability problems on the site.
- We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Analytics and cookies
We use two analytics services. Both set cookies or similar identifiers in your browser. You can decline them in the cookie notice shown on your first visit, or change your choice at any time by clearing this site's storage in your browser.
- Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC): page views, events and aggregate audience reporting. IP addresses are not logged or stored by Google Analytics 4. See Google's privacy policy.
- Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Corporation): heatmaps and session replays that show how pages are used. Form fields are masked in recordings by default. See Microsoft's privacy statement.
If you decline, Google Analytics continues to receive cookieless, aggregated pings only and Clarity is not loaded.
Where your information is stored
Enquiry form submissions are stored in Airtable (Formagrid Inc., servers in the United States) and in our e-mail. Analytics data is processed by Google and Microsoft, which may store it outside Australia. We keep enquiry records for as long as needed to serve your event and for our business records afterwards.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you through the enquiry form. If you have a complaint about how we have handled your information, contact us first; you can also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
Changes
We will post any changes to this policy on this page and update the date above.
