About Aura Sight
Aura Sight supplies certified solar viewing glasses and viewing kits for the total solar eclipse of Saturday 22 July 2028, the first over Sydney since 1857. We are based in Sydney, hold stock in New South Wales and ship Australia-wide.
What we do
We supply eclipse glasses in packs of 10, 50 and 100, family viewing kits with a phone camera filter and a printed guide, and custom-branded frames for events, in the quantities a school, council, club, venue or employer needs. Pricing is quoted to your numbers and every order ships with its certification pack.
Why it matters
For more than two and a half hours on eclipse day the Sun is partly covered and looks dim enough to glance at. It is not. The retina has no pain receptors and the damage is permanent. Certified glasses are the only safe way to watch the partial phases, and in 2028 millions of people in the path will be looking up at once. Our job is to make sure the glasses in their hands are the real thing.
How we prove it
Our filter meets ISO 12312-2:2015 and is tested by ICS Laboratories, an A2LA-accredited laboratory, with retesting every five years. The glasses are CE-certified as personal protective equipment. Every unit carries a QR code that links to its batch certificate, and the full test reports are available on request. The detail is on our certification page.
Who we work with
Schools and councils planning viewing events, workplaces and clubs, venues and tour operators, and retailers and distributors who want certified stock on the shelf without import risk. If that is you, get in touch or register interest on the event form and we reply within one business day, AEST.
